Client Overview

Babes of London is an established London escort agency serving a high-volume, commercially diverse clientele in one of the most competitive cities. With an extensive roster of providers on the site and a baseline of local brand visibility, the agency’s organic performance was lagging behind its operational capabilities.

The website wasn’t built to compete for generic commercial searches. Most organic visitors already knew the company, arriving via branded searches such as “Babes of London”, while high-value keywords, including “London escorts”, generated no meaningful visibility.

The challenge wasn’t simply to improve rankings. The website needed to be rebuilt to support long-term SEO growth, scale efficiently as new content was added and convert significantly more visitors into enquiries.

Goals

Capture high-volume search traffic: Shift the core organic results away from branded keywords and towards high-intent commercial terms, e.g., “London escorts”

Create a robust hub of local and category landing pages: Build out specific pages to capture people looking for escorts in X area or who offer Y service.
Optimise for mobile browsing: Optimise front-end page structure and back-end mechanics to maximise performance across mobile devices (the majority of the target market’s primary browsing device.
Improve conversion across the board: Transition the site from a mostly aesthetic, image gallery to a powerful conversion mechanism.

Objectives

Objectives

Rebuilding the platform

Before focusing on search performance or content, we decided to rebuild the platform itself from the ground up.

We redesigned the frontend to create a cleaner mobile experience, with profile galleries reorganised and separated, selfies and videos tabs, clickable service sections and improved navigation between profiles. We also included floating contact buttons that are accessible throughout the browsing experience to keep booking readily available.

Alongside frontend changes, we expanded the CMS to better support the upcoming content overhaul. New functionality was added for blogs, profiles, reviews and data imports, making it easier to maintain and expand the website.

Objectives

Building a scalable architecture

With the underlying platform rebuilt, we could turn our attention towards more obvious SEO work.

The site had previously relied on the homepage and branded search for virtually all of its organic traffic. We expanded the website with a host of optimised category and location landing pages to capture commercial search intent across London.

Examples included specialist categories like busty, video profiles and petite escorts as well as hyper-local area pages like Earls Court and Mayfair.

To support these pages, we built out backend functionality that allowed blog pages to be associated with a relevant category or location within the CMS. This meant that internal linking was made easier and more obvious for admins and ensured that supporting content could naturally reinforce commercial pages as the site continued to grow.

Metadata was reviewed throughout the site, duplicate content issues were identified and resolved, and profile content was rewritten to improve uniqueness and persuasiveness.

Objectives

Technical SEO and performance

With the new architecture in place, we focused on improving technical performance and user experience.

We diagnosed and fixed Core Web Vitals issues, addressed LCP concerns, corrected any final migration errors and implemented server-side image compression to reduce page weight without sacrificing image quality.

Additional improvements included modern image formats, frontend optimisation and performance reviews across key templates to improve the browsing experience for both users and search engines.

Objectives

Improving the customer journey

Increasing traffic on its own was never going to be enough. Our goal was always to convert more of those visitors into enquiries.

Throughout the project, we implemented a series of usability features designed to reduce friction for users. These included floating contact options, improved profile nav, interactive media galleries, profile indicators (such as “on holiday” status), and map functionality.

All of these were optimised for mobile users who make up the vast majority of search traffic, and designed to make it easier for a prospect to convert.

March to April 2026

Category pages, location pages and supporting content were expanded while contextual relationships between blogs and landing pages were introduced through new backend functionality.

April to May 2026

The final phase focused on technical refinement, including Core Web Vitals improvements, migration fixes, image compression and broader performance optimisation across the website.

Challenges

Although visually appealing, the existing website was held back by several technical and structural limitations.

Organic visibility depended largely on branded searches, leaving significant opportunities untapped for users actively searching for escort services across London.

The site also suffered from performance issues, legacy development problems and an architecture that made ongoing expansion difficult. Adding new pages, profiles and supporting content required unnecessary manual effort, while technical issues such as migration errors, large media assets and Core Web Vitals problems limited overall search performance.

Rather than applying isolated SEO fixes, we decided to rebuild the platform around a scalable search strategy, conversion improvements, and modern design principles.

Key Wins

Organic Visibility

The rebuild significantly increased the agency’s organic online presence. Monthly organic traffic grew by 488% while Google Search Console clicks grew by nearly 800%. More importantly, the site moved away from relying on branded search terms and towards commercially valuable keywords that result in actual bookings.

Scalability

The new CMS and site structure made future growth and expansion much more achievable. A reliable and user-friendly system to create new locations, categories, profiles and supporting content means that these features can be added quickly and easily with robust internal linking in mind.

Conversions Grew In Line With Traffic

By combining UX improvements with better page structure and clearer conversion paths, the site generated 442 contacts attributed to organic search in May.
